Froggi VanRiper (she/they) studies sustainability challenges in sanitation, including appropriate technologies and systems for environmentally and economically insecure urban communities. Froggi is driven by interest in how social, environmental, and technical systems interact to affect the sustainability of public infrastructure and the wellbeing of vulnerable populations.
Froggi is committed to reshaping the nature of research collaboration between communities in the Global North and Global South towards greater equity in beneficial outcomes.
